Good travel advice can be hard to find. The safety situation in any one country can be complex, localised and change over night. By the same token, formerly war-torn countries can, and do, change for the better.
Many countries provide a helpful government travel advisory for their citizens travelling abroad. Whilst you should always check your own government’s travel advice first, as not following it might invalidate your travel insurance, the advice given between countries is not always the same.
